Web / Application Development and Management

All our solutions are designed with your company in mind making sure the solution is “Fit for Purpose” rather than a one shoe fits all approach.

FFPC has a robust and repeatable approach to projects which follows the following phases:

Initiation/Requirements Gathering - Define project requirements, vision, goals, scope and high level architecture. We will also consider non-functional requirements at this point which are key to a successful end product.
Confirmation - Create a Prototype of elements of the design to make sure the client can visualise their requirements quickly and identify any risks to the project.
Building - Software development phase of the project. This also includes QA (Unit testing/ Functional testing/System testing) to make sure the project is released with minimal defects. It is also possible to have various UAT rounds as part of the agreed sprint schedules.
Delivery/Handover - Delivery and final UAT before hand over of the end product to the client.
Support and Maintenance - We can tailor a “Fit for Purpose” support contract to make sure your end product is looked after with the same dedicated care as it was developed. This can be anything from resolving minor bugs, to adding that brilliant new feature, to extending the application to Mobile or even full Service desk support…..we happy to support your end product for as long as you need us too.

During these phases FFPC will break down the work into sub phases (sprints) reflecting the Agile SCRUM development methodology. FFPC is extremely flexible and the process governance can be agreed with the client during the Initiation phase to achieve “Fit for Purpose” solutions.

All Clients are assigned an Offshore Scrum Master/ Project Manager who acts as the primary interface to the Client and is responsible for the delivery of the project to time-scale, quality and budget. You will also be assigned a UK based Relationship manager who will meet face to face and have regular calls to make sure the project is fulfilling all client expectations.

Testing / QA Services

FFPC utilises many testing approaches to deliver high quality solutions. All solutions undergo Unit testing, Integration testing between components, Functional testing and finally System testing before being handed over to the client. We also provide these testing services independently to customers who require them. We have a number of customers who use in-house developers and then contract us to complete testing in order to improve Quality, Production stability and ROI.

We also offer extra test services in a “Fit for Purpose” manner to match the client’s individual needs:

Our “Fit for Purpose” Offering follows the following phases:

The Introduction - App development is complex, but it should always start simple. Face to face, on the phone or on Skype; with a short, informal chat you tell us what you want, and we can discuss how we can help.
The Offer - When the requirements are understood we will create a “Fit for Purpose” proposal to show the deliverables and cost.
The Design - This is where the fun begins and as a client you can see your idea become reality. Things like design and user interface are agreed in order to create the framework for us to develop the functionality.
The Build - This is where the development of the App is done which includes QA (Unit testing/ Functional testing/System testing) to make sure the project is released with minimal defects. It is also possible to have various UAT rounds at agreed points.
The Delivery - Delivery and final UAT before hand over of the APP to the client. We can also look after the process of App store submissions and distribution environments, ensuring that everything is in place where and when it needs to be. Or if you prefer, we can create a setup so that you can efficiently submit updates yourself.
The Support and Update - We can tailor a “Fit for Purpose” support contract to make sure your App is ready to survive out in the world from resolving any minor bugs, to adding that brilliant new feature that you just must have…..we are happy to support your App for as long as you need us too.

FFPC will provide a dedicated Offshore Scrum Master/ Project Manager and local Relationship Manager for all Mobile App projects. Depending on the size of the project the process governance stages will need to be agreed.
